Our inspiration
Having had the incredible fortune to travel the world in my previous career, I’ve seen my share of “exotic” locales. Yet, time and again, I found myself thinking: these stunning places, as beautiful as they are, are no better than my own beautiful country – Wales. The stunning scenery, the fascinating history, and the ancient culture right here on my own doorstep can match that of any country in the world!
It was actually my international customers from my previous career who sparked the idea for North Wales Guided Tours. When they’d make work visits to our factory, I’d often take them on guided tours around North Wales on their days off. They absolutely loved it! Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it got me thinking: if they, having journeyed from far-flung corners of the globe, could be so captivated by what Wales offers, why not share this passion with even more people? And just like that, North Wales Guided Tours was born. It’s been an incredible journey ever since, sharing the beauty and wonder of this incredible country with visitors from all over the world.

We’ve carefully chosen Mercedes-Benz V Class, Mercedes GLE and Mercedes E Class, touring vehicles for your comfort. You’ll have individual control over the climate control, plus, with onboard Wi-Fi and handy power points, you can stay connected and keep your devices charged, so you never miss a moment to capture the beauty around you.
When it comes to space, our Mercedes GLE SUV and Mercedes E Class sedans are ideal for three passengers without luggage or two with luggage, while our Mercedes V Class MPVs can comfortably accommodate up to seven passengers and their bags.

This means they’ve gone the extra mile to learn and educate themselves in the history, culture, and hidden gems of our country.
Excellence behind the wheel
When it comes to getting you around, safely and comfortably, that’s where our extra training sets us apart. All our guides are either full or provisional members of the UK’s Guild of Professional Chauffeurs. It’s something we’re genuinely proud of, especially since there are less than 100 chauffeurs in the entire UK who have successfully navigated the Guild’s incredibly rigorous assessment process. So, when we’re behind the wheel, you can rest assured you’re in incredibly capable hands.
Fully regulated
Our vehicles are fully licenced under the UK’s Private Hire regulations by our local authority, Denbighshire County Council and we carry full hire and reward insurance with additional public liability and indemnity insurance. Due to the nature of our business and the profile of our clients, our vehicles are exempted from displaying private hire/taxi identification plates or sign. This means we can give our customers a level of privacy and discretion not usually associated with the licenced vehicle trade and our vehicles look like luxury private vehicles not Taxis.
