We came up to North Wales in late September having had to cancel our trip to Kenya due to the epidemic. Chris met us of the train from London and we spent 2 wonderful days touring the fabulous scenery and sites of the area. We spent time exploring castles and deserted beaches that could have been in the Caribbean. We’ll definitely be back!
Mid holiday, our Transfer Tours are an ideal way of getting between different parts of the UK and they can turn a dull transfer day into a day to remember.
Maybe you are flying into London Heathrow or Manchester International airport and require transport to North Wales to start your holiday. Or you need dropping at Holyhead seaport to catch the ferry to Dublin to continue your Celtic experience in Ireland. How about a transfer to Manchester Piccadilly station to catch the express train to Edinburgh ready to complete your Celtic touring vacation in Scotland?
An alternative to traveling between the different touring areas of Britain by plane or train is to sit back and relax in one of our luxury touring vehicles and let us turn that mediocre transfer day into a day to remember with one of our private guided Transfer Tours.
Our ‘Route 66 Wales‘ transfer tour between the southwest of England and North Wales is a fabulous journey through some of the best countryside Wales has to offer and is a highly popular alternative to the drudge up the UK’s major motorway system.
Customers landing at London Heathrow airport or those who have spent time visiting London often prefer their transfer to North Wales to be a relaxed tour through the Cotswolds and Welsh Marches rather than rushing through the grey industrial heartlands of central England.
And customers heading north after their stay in North Wales can take advantage of our transfer tours taking in the beautiful English Lake District and Scottish Borders on route to Edinburgh and beyond.

Excellent private tour of North Wales arranged at short notice; reassuring COVID security and excellent local knowledge.
Seamless, friendly and professional service in a brand-new luxury Mercedes. Fantastic local knowledge too. We felt very well looked after. Thank you, Chris!
Recently we needed to travel from Bath to Conwy in North Wales in one day. Rather than have a plain transfer, along the motorways through the industrial English Midlands, we had a wonderful full day tour with Chris from North Wales Guided Tours. He took us along the scenic route, colloquially known as Route 66. It was fantastic and we couldn’t have been happier with the trip. Chris took us through stunning countryside – lush green valleys, rugged mountain areas, seaside and quaint small villages. We stopped several times for refreshments and photo opportunities. Chris himself was very pleasant to be with and gave us plenty of interesting history about various aspects of Wales. His late model Mercedes van was nice and clean and very comfortable.
We thoroughly recommend Chris from North Wales Guided Tours, and this scenic tour in particular.
Chris was an excellent tour guide and put together a most enjoyable day out for us on our 2 days round Snowdonia. His commentary was most informative and entertaining, and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great tour!
Dear Chris. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of North Wales Guided Tours for our pickup from the Cotswolds, 3 days in North Wales and transfer up to the lake District. The highlight of our whole trip to the UK was the visit to Ashton Hall, the house that my ancestor had lived in before moving to America in the 1700s. Considering you managed to locate the Hall and organise a personal visit from the tiniest scrap of information I’d mentioned in passing – you definitely went above and beyond and I can’t thank you enough.
We spent a wonderful winter weekend touring North Wales last January with North Wales Guided Tours. My wife, 2 children and I travelled by train from London and Chris was waiting for us at Chester Train station for the journey into Wales and our luxury 5 Star Hotel. We then spent 2 days great days getting to know North Wales with Chris. Such a beautiful place – even in winter. As soon as we got back home to London, the guidebooks were out planning for our next visit in the summer.
During our travels around Europe over the last few years, we’ve been fortunate enough to stay in top end Hotels and get guide recommendations from the Concierges. The guides invariably mirror you: worldly, passionate and steeped in regional history. We so much enjoyed our time with you, including our compressed history lesson on Wales. Now I can go home and read more about your wonderful country.
