We provided Chris with limited genealogical information and he took it to the next level, taking us to a murder site, ancestral homes, and providing us with historical context we had never heard. He was open to changes in the schedule as our learning increased and was an utterly charming host and guide. His car was very roomy and comfortable as well. Another unforgettable adventure with Chris! We have now had the pleasure of traveling with Chris, the owner, on two incredible trips through Wales, and we simply cannot recommend him highly enough! Two years ago, Chris took us through North Wales and Snowdonia, and from September 21–25, 2026, we had the opportunity to explore the beautiful South Wales and Pembrokeshire with him. Both trips have been absolutely fantastic, and one thing is certain — when we return to Wales, we will be traveling with Chris! Chris is truly top-notch. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Wales, always punctual and attentive, and somehow seems to know exactly what we want to see and experience. From spectacular scenery and charming villages to wonderful restaurants and fantastic hotels, his recommendations have been spot-on every time. He takes care of every detail while still making the experience feel relaxed and completely effortless. And the vehicles? Absolutely first class. Traveling in his beautiful, high-end Mercedes makes the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves. We were in Holyhead for 1 day. We thought we would book a car and travel ourselves. Fortunately, the car rental was closed on Sunday and we ended up booking this PHENOM tour. We had some specific places that we wanted to visit in wales and Chris was accomodating. He also took us to the some of the must-see places. His knowledge of the area and the history is outstanding. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a taste of wales in a day.

My husband and friends really enjoyed this tour. Andrew was outstanding! He took them to Caernarfon Castle, the Ugly House (making reservations), Snowdonia, The Light House, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, a beautiful hike along the river, waterfalls and beautiful valley. Unforgettable day for them. Thank you Andrew. Unfortunately, I was ill and couldn’t attend. So bummed. Their pictures are amazing.

My wife and I decided to explore Wales to celebrate our 70th birthdays. Part of that exploration was to include walking sections of the Wales Coastal path without renting a car. This left us the logistical challenge of getting from Cardiff to Aberaeron with our luggage to start our walking. Rather than simply hire a driver, we looked around to find someone who could both transport us and introduce us to Wales at the same time. We had the good fortune of discovering North Wales Guided Tours. We explained to Chris what our interests were. He put together a bespoke tour for us that was entertaining, informative and highly professional. We got to explore beautiful countryside while getting a sense of Wales history from the Neolithic era up to the present day. Instead of the day being a wasted travel day, we had an enjoyable day that left us with an appreciation for Wales and the Welsh people. We had an amazing tour of Holyhead! When our ship arrived late because of strong winds, our guide was incredibly flexible and adjusted the day so we didn’t miss out. The tour was knowledgeable, fun, and included a beautiful hike with spectacular scenery. A truly memorable day in Wales—we highly recommend this tour!

This tour far exceeded expectations. Our chauffeur, Peter, was right on time with a very comfortable Mercedes with excellent window views and made sure we knew of all its comfort features before departing. We put our day in his hands after a brief interview of our interests and he choreographed the rest of the day. He is definitely a local expert with a knack for finding unique places to visit as well as hitting the highlights of Snowdonia. He worked many gems to see, an understanding of the Welch language and culture, and some delicious surprise treats. Communication and logistics were spot on. If you want a great tour!
