Visiting our Celtic Cousins – Between Ireland and Wales

Many don’t realise that Wales and Ireland are Celtic cousins separated by just 50 miles of the Irish sea.

Did you know Dublin is a short 45-minute flight from Liverpool or Manchester Airports, which themselves are barely 90 minutes from Snowdonia.

Or, Wales has 2 major ferry ports linking to Ireland. You can take the fast ferry from Holyhead in Anglesey to Dublin, or cruise from Fishguard in South Wales to Rosslare, further south in beautiful Wexford. Both crossings take about 3 and a half hours. We can drop or pick you up from the Welsh side whilst your Irish tour team can collect you from the port on their side.

It really is so easy to get between Ireland and Wales!

We can provide transfers to or from any of these airports and ports to help you link your tour of North Wales into your time in Ireland.
